William
K. Strycker
has extensive experience in Human Resources, Labor Relations,
Conflict Management, Organizational Design, Organizational
Development, Diversity and Staff Development. Will has served in
several different roles including: Vice President of Human
Resources, Director of Labor Relations and Diversity, Campus
Administrator, Chief Labor Negotiator and Director of Employee
Relations.
Additionally, Will served
as a Commissioner with the Wisconsin Employment Relations
Commission. Commissioners are appointed by the Governor and subject
to confirmation by the Senate. The WERC administers the State’s
labor laws and has many of the same roles as the National Labor
Relations Board (NLRB) and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation
Service (FMCS). Will also provided mediation, arbitration and
labor/management cooperation services for private and public sector
employers and unions.
Will Strycker has worked
with numerous labor organizations including: National Education
Association (NEA), American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Operating
Engineers, Machinists (IAM), International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers (IBEW), Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC),
Teamsters, American Federation of State County and Municipal
Employees (AFSCME), International Association of Firefighters (IAF),
various law enforcement organizations and the Milwaukee Building and
Construction Trades Council.
Currently,
Will provides training, facilitation, conflict management and other
consulting services to organizations and labor/management groups
interested in improving relationships, service delivery and
effectiveness through collaborative efforts. |
